You can find mods on sites like RaceDepartment or basically any link you can find. For most sites there will be an information if the mod requires something like CSP, Sol, etc. You can of course install your mods the traditional way, too. That's why some videos could be confusing as they either require or start from this part. Hence, many things will change a bit once you go this path. exe, navigating to the menu and setting up a race, you can directly jump to this last part in content manager. And you can launch the game through it as well. Even your game settings like graphics, inputs and more can be directly changed in content manager. The difference is just, once you have CSP set up correctly you can use content manager and its own surface to browse all your files, select cars, tracks, set up your races, etc. While we highly suggest that you install these, too there are still many mods that aren't using special functions that are only available through CSP. a car or a track is pretty easy and it does not always require CSP, content manager or any other fancy setting.
